My very own interview

Will from nihongojouzu.com did an email interview of me several days ago so if you are remotely interested about where I come from, here it is:
http://www.nihongojouzu.com/2006/04/learner_stories.html

Hmm… is this bad taste to link to my own interview?

Anyway, he also has neat tips such as how to put Japanese notes on your ipod so why don’t you check it out?

On a sidenote, I will put up the third skype lesson details this weekend and email the participants. Unfortunately, next, next Sunday is no good for me because I have to go to work!!

So do I still have a spot on this Sunday’s 3rd Lesson? I got my studies complete.

  2. Tae Kim Says:

Hi Luis, you are definitely signed up for the 4th but if anybody can’t make it to the 3rd, you’re first on my list. I’m not sure how to do 10 people. My Skype program only allows 5 and I check and downloaded the latest version. I think it might be because my CPU is an AMD.

  3. Ryan Says:

Hey Tae, have you ever considered using Ventrilo or TeamSpeak for your lessons so that more people can connect at once?

I was always frustrated that Skype allowed so few people in the same conversation :(

  4. Tae Kim Says:

If there’s anything that works better, I’m willing to try it. Only problem is, I have no way of test it and I don’t know whether people are willing to download another application. Have you tried those software? How do they work? Are they easy to use?

  5. Luis Says:

    I’m willing to test it.

  6. Tae Kim Says:

For now, I’m going to stick with Skype but I am looking into the other software. Perhaps I will host a completely free-form experimental learning session with up to 10 people to test if I can get things to work properly.

Gizmo-Project is out there too. It’s pretty good. I use it to talk to my boss in the US (I’m in Sweden) occasionally.
